The 4th Asiana International Short Film
Festival provides a new guarantee production
project to support and incubate Korean short
filmmakers.
With AISFF Fund Project, AISFF aims to inspire
and incite talented Korean Short filmmakers
to make a new project and find out a new channel
for alternative short film, covering from
production to screening and distribution.
Five million won plus the necessary materials
for production and post-production will be
guaranteed to the selected film and the completed
film will get an opportunity to be the opening
film of AISFF2006 and will be screened at
the international flights of the Asiana Airlines. |

 |
|
| After the festival on the ground, AISFF
screens the award-winning films up in the
sky at the In-Flight of the Asiana international
Airlines. With this In-Flight film festival,
the award-winning films are introduced to
around 3 million international passengers
of the Asiana Airlines. AISFF will then provide
a great opportunity to short filmmakers as
an alternative arena going beyond their local
and national boundaries, for greater international
audience awareness. 'AISFF_in the Air', the official title of
the AISFF In-Flight film festival, will screen
the award winning films during the fist half
of the year, each film for maximum 30 days
a month.
From the year of 2005, AISFF prepares
"5 minutes in the Air", a section
with the selected shorts within five minutes
from the international competition and makes
a special event for ballots from Asiana's
passengers for a week. The 1st placed short
from the ballots will be nominated as a
"5 minutes in the Air" award at
the closing ceremony of the festival.

and local boundaries.
AISFF indeed has been presenting the selected
Korean shorts to other festivals and cities in
order to encourage Korean short film market and
