1. AISFF2003¡¯s Official Competitions
Received a total of 656 works from 18 countries including USA, Iran, France, the Czech Republic, Great Britain, Germany, Australia, Switzerland, Israel, China, Poland, New Zealand, India, Thailand, Taiwan, Japan, Turkey.

43 films entered the final competitive section;
26 Korean films and 17 overseas films(6 from USA, 2 from France, 2 from Czech, 1 each from Britain, Germany, Poland, China, Australia, Taiwan, and India).

 
2. AISFF2003¡¯s Special Programs
* New York's' Elevator Moods Movemen t: an inspiration by a world-known Denmark director, Lars Von Trier's Dogma 95, EMIC(Elevator Moods Inspection Committee) has set 10 very strict rules called the "Elefesto" and it was observed that the film work could only be shot inside the Elevator. The process of the works was called "the mood" and 13 moods (average 1 minute length) were screened at the AISFF2003.
